These days it’s easier than ever to create videos before and after you speak – to help boost interest in what you’ll say, to continue the conversation after you sit down, and more.

Armed with a smartphone and a few (inexpensive) accessories, you can literally create engaging, spur of the moment content with minimal fuss and in just a few moments.

And speaking of accessories, I took advantage of my fellow professional speaker Lottie Hearn, The Video Coach and Vice President of the Professional Speaking Association Ireland, visiting my office this week to try out one of my new favourites – a selfie stick.
